BRYCE CAMERON LISTON

BRYCE CAMERON LISTON

Liston believes that an accomplished artist has the power to convey emotion and even passion through his or her work by virtue of imagination, talent and experience. His sensibilities, along with his practical knowledge allow him to merge together the technical with the aesthetic, the physical with the spiritual. Collectors around the world are very familiar with his knowledge and talent. When viewing Liston’s work in person you can’t help but to be drawn into the evocative scenes. His paintings scintillate and vibrate with the poetry of light and subtle color variations.

Bryce was born in Pleasant Grove, Utah in 1965. His art education started at a young age when he would go out with his mother while she painted the Utah landscape. He later went on to attend the University of Utah and Weber State, however the majority of his learning occurred in the studio and foundry of sculptor Edward J. Fraughton. Bryce’s work is shown in galleries around the country and he participates in many national and international exhibitions each year. Bryce is a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America where he has won numerous awards throughout the years. Bryce’s artwork has won other frequent prestigious awards including The Tuffy Berg Award, The Honorary Chairman’s Award and the Southwest Art Award of Excellence at the 2010 CM Russell Auction in Great Falls, MT.
