Hummingbird & Trumpet Flowers pairs two subjects made for each other — the hummingbird and the trumpet-shaped flowers it evolved alongside, the bird's bill and the flower's form a perfect fit refined over millions of years. Zygmunt renders this co-evolutionary partnership with the botanical precision and sculptural warmth that defines her best work, the small bronze a portrait of a relationship as beautiful as it is ancient.

Bronze, edition of 48. 7.5"H × 4"W. Available through Sage Creek Gallery.
