Joyful Flight captures a bird in the pure pleasure of being airborne — not hunting, not fleeing, just flying for the joy of it. Zygmunt renders this quality of avian delight with a sculptor's sensitivity to movement and form, the small bronze alive with the energy of a creature doing exactly what it loves most. A painting that makes the viewer want to open a window.

Bronze, edition of 48. 7.5"H × 4"W. Available through Sage Creek Gallery.
