ROBERT KUESTER

ROBERT KUESTER

Robert currently lives & paints in New Mexico.  He has found subject matter all the way from Taos, NM to Sedona, AZ to the beaches  of CA, to Venice  Italy. Both a studio and plein air artist, he does the landscape, portrait, still life and  the figure.

Education began at Drake Univ. then a degree from Art center College of Design. Subsequent studies have been with O. Berberian, M Lynch, Irby Brown & others. As an Alla Prima painter, Robert loves the beauty to be found in brushwork for it's own sake while always  arriving at a convincing final image.  Rich but naturalistic color remains a major motivation to paint.
