Pears in Morning Light is DiBenedetto's largest work in this collection — a painting that gives the humble pear the full attention it deserves. Morning light is the still life painter's favorite, and DiBenedetto uses it to reveal the subtle color and form of the fruit with a warmth and clarity that makes the painting feel like a moment caught rather than arranged. The generous format gives the composition room to breathe and the light room to move.

Original oil, 18"H × 24"W. Available through Sage Creek Gallery.
